About Me 

Hi, I’m Grace Mae—owner and designer of Grace Mae’s Designs, and someone who’s been in love with yarn long before I ever thought I’d build a business around it. Knitting and crochet have always been a place where I can breathe a little deeper, slow down, and make something that feels like home. What started as a hobby slowly grew into patterns, ideas, and projects I wanted to share—so here we are.

I design knitting and crochet patterns that reflect who I am and what matters to me: slow moments, honest creativity, and a faith that steadies me through the ups and downs. I also hand-paint watercolor greeting cards, which lets me mix color, texture, and words in a completely different way. It’s messy and fun and usually involves me with paint on my hands.

When I’m not working on a design, you’ll probably find me with friends, serving at my church, or enjoying a good cup of coffee—sometimes all three. I love simple moments: a quiet morning, a conversation that goes deeper than small talk, or finishing a project I wasn’t sure I’d have the energy for. Those things shape me just as much as my creative work does.
